Colors of Nature was born in 2007 as a project with the goal of creating alternatives for social and economical development in rural areas of Colombia. It has provided hope for people that was at that time living within the internal military conflict, a cruel reality between poverty and illegal crops. Since then the project was aimed to create a new "real-fair" economical model for coffee, a necesary alternative to the New York Market.
Almost 15 year after we began our search (and we continue to do so), we are proud to introduce a selection of great and exiting coffees to coffee professionals from all over the world. They are all products of our own research and working model, one of the greatest experiences of social change through coffee that has occurred in our country, or indeed around the world.
Our experience led us to the thought that when a social transformation is premised on the value of human capital over financial capital and when it considers people's dignity and education an important aim, then things like competitiveness, quality, friendship, and mutual cooperation will lead the whole process to success.
Our dream is to keep creating an effective direct-trade model for coffee, one that is real-fair with coffee pickers, farmers, roasters and everyone else working to make it possible.
Trading System
Colors of Nature exports coffees directly to you by ship or plane (FOB, CIF), either from Colombia or Japan. We can also allocate coffees within different countries through our network of partnerships if you require this service. Some of our destinations are: Japan, USA, China, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Europe (UK, Denmark, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and others).
Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility
Since our beginning, social and environmental responsibility have always been our major driving force and role. The changes needed in our society can occur when real economic alternatives to the current model are achieved. Every time we succeed in creating those trading routes we create real solutions to poverty and therefore we are able to protect the environment in those rural areas under our influence. We measure our success according to our capability to improve our farmers lifestyles more than in the economic growth of the company itself.
